How to use an electric tandoor?
An electric tandoor is a convenient and efficient way to prepare various dishes such as meat, fish, vegetables, and bread. Unlike the traditional tandoor, the electric version offers more convenient and safer use, especially in the conditions of a city apartment or a country house. Below is a detailed instruction on how to use the electric tandoor, which will help you achieve the best results in cooking delicious and aromatic dishes.
Place the electric tandoor on a flat, stable surface, away from flammable materials and drafts. Ensure there is a power outlet nearby with the appropriate voltage.
Assemble all parts of the tandoor according to the manufacturer's instructions. Connect the tandoor to the power supply, ensuring all connections are correct and secure.
Open the tandoor lid and check for any foreign objects inside. Wipe the inner surface of the tandoor with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
Turn on the tandoor and set the temperature regulator to the maximum setting. Allow the tandoor to heat up for 30-40 minutes. This will help clean the internal surfaces from any manufacturing residues and heat the tandoor to the working temperature.
While the tandoor is heating up, prepare the food for baking. This can include meat, fish, vegetables, bread, etc. Marinate the meat or fish if required by the recipe.
Place the food on skewers or racks provided with the tandoor. Insert the skewers or racks inside the tandoor according to the manufacturer's instructions. Close the tandoor lid.
Set the timer for the recommended cooking time for each type of food. Periodically check the cooking process to avoid overheating or drying out the food. If necessary, turn the food for even cooking.
When the food is ready, turn off the tandoor and open the lid. Carefully remove the skewers or racks with the cooked dishes using heat-resistant gloves.
Leave the tandoor open to cool naturally. Do not leave the tandoor unattended while it is turned on.
After the tandoor has completely cooled down, remove any food residues and grease from the inner surface. Wipe the inner and outer surfaces with a damp cloth. Store the tandoor in a dry place.
